Train Dispatcher 3 Customer Contributed (Free) Track Territory Library

You can download individual territories. These territories are in self-extracting zip files that must be executed (opened) to create the territories. Click on the file name you want to download. You will then see a dialog asking what you want to do with this file.

• If you choose "Run this file from the current location", on the next dialog click the "Unzip" button to expand the file to the specified folder. The specified folder should be the folder in which your copy of Train Dispatcher 2 and/or 3 is installed.
  
• If you choose "Save this file to disk", specify the folder where you want to download the file. After the file is downloaded you will have to execute it (open) by double clicking on the file name in the Window Explorer program or by clicking the "Start" button, the "Run" command and entering the file name.

Several customers have asked if we check the territories in the "Customer Contributed (Free)" library for computer virus. Track territory files are data files that are processed by our program (Train Dispatcher 3) when you load them. They cannot introduce a virus into your computer.

Softrail is a small three-employee company. The cost of updating and maintaining the Customer Contributed territories has become a financial burden in the last couple of years. Rather than charging a fee for accessing this free library of over 300 territories, several of our customers suggested that we ask for voluntary donation.

If you regularly use the Customer Contributed Territory Library and wish to make a donation to help us cover the costs of updating and maintaining the Customer Contributed territory library, it would be greatly appreciated. A donation of $1 a month or $12 a year would help us out considerably.

If you wish to contribute territories to either the "Customer Contributed (Free)" or "For Sale" territory libraries, attach the the files to an e-mail and send them to sales@signalcc.com or you can send a diskette by mail to:

To contribute to the "Customer Contributed (Free)" library send the .trk files. To submit your territory to the "For Sale" library send the .lay and the .trk files. If Signal Computer Consultants accepts your territory for the "For Sale" library we will pay you a 15% royalty on the territory sales.
