Long Term Rentals 
Long term rental rates are offered for 707 Maisons sur Mer during the winter months. Because we give returning guests first right of refusal on the same time period in the subsequent year and also because we will accept weekly rentals during off-season months, the availability of long term rentals is often quite limited.
The warmer winter months are obviously more desirable. Our long term rates take this into consideration and vary based on the time period desired, duration of the rental, accepted bookings, and are subject to change. Each situation is individually considered. A rental has to be four or more weeks in duration in order to qualify for a long term rate. Although we prefer weekly rentals during the month of March, we will consider renting March at a long term rate if combined with a rental of January and February or if January and February have already rented to another party.
When making your plans for Myrtle Beach winter getaways, please keep in mind that long-term rentals of 90 days or more are not subject to state and local sales and accommodations taxes, which add an additional 12% to all other rentals.
Monthly rental rates include linens, monthly cleaning, departure laundering of the linens, and a departure cleaning. Confirmation of a tentative reservation with a deposit of $400 per four week period is expected within two weeks of booking. The remainder of the rental amount is due four weeks prior to the beginning of the rental. A security deposit (which will be refunded upon key return if the condo is returned in the same good condition in which it was rented) of $200 per rental is added to the final bill for the rental. The Maisons sur Mer building has a residential flavor and is especially well suited to long-term off-season rentals because the units are more spacious and the floor plans more interesting than those of typical beach condos. Many of the Maisons sur Mer apartments are occupied by permanent residents. Of course, an upscale New York City apartment does not have the temperate climate and the spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean seen from every window of most Maisons sur Mer condos. The garage is access-controlled and designated for owners, but we are able to make the secure covered parking available to our long-term guests.
